Step by step
Open the trip and tap Money. Under Settle up, you’ll see lines like “You owe Sam $20”.
If the person you owe added their Venmo, PayPal or Cash App, you’ll see Pay with Venmo, Pay with PayPal or Pay with Cash App. Tap it to open the app with the amount filled in.
No button? Pay them back however you like: cash, a bank transfer or any payment app.
Tap Mark paid next to that line. The payment is logged and the balances update.
When nobody owes anything, you’ll see Everyone’s even.
Let people pay you back in a tap
Tap Profile and find Get paid back.
Add your username for Venmo, PayPal.me or Cash App, or all three.
Tap Save. People who owe you on a trip now see a pay button in Settle up.
Good to know
- Venmo and Cash App buttons show for amounts in US dollars. PayPal works in most currencies.
- Only people on your trips can see your usernames.
- Andamos doesn’t move money. It keeps track so you don’t have to.
- Marked one paid by mistake? Delete the payment from Expenses.
