Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Andamos for using the app at andamos.app. We’ve tried to keep them short and clear. By creating an account or using Andamos, you agree to them.
Who can use Andamos
You must be at least 13 years old to use Andamos. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission. If you use Andamos on behalf of a group or organization, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these terms for it.
Your account
Give us accurate information when you sign up and keep your sign-in details to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has access to it, change your password and email us at hello@andamos.app.
Your content
You own what you add to Andamos: your plans, photos, notes, documents and everything else. We don’t claim ownership of any of it.
To run the service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process, display and share your content, only as needed to operate, secure and improve Andamos. That includes showing it to the people on your trips, and to anyone with a public recap link if you create one. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content that stays in a shared trip as described in our Privacy Policy.
Only add content you have the right to share, and be thoughtful about posting photos or details of other people.
Acceptable use
Please don’t use Andamos to:
- break the law or help anyone else break it;
- harass, threaten or abuse people, or share content that is hateful, sexually explicit or violent;
- share other people’s private information without their permission;
- upload content that infringes someone else’s rights, or malware;
- send spam, or use invite links to reach people who don’t want to hear from you;
- try to get into accounts or data that aren’t yours, or probe, overload or disrupt the service;
- scrape, copy or resell the service, or use automated tools to access it outside normal use.
Group trips
Trips are shared spaces. When you join a trip, other members can see what you add to it, except items you mark private. The trip organizer can manage the trip, including changing details and removing members. If you’re removed from a trip, you lose access to it. Anything you shared there may stay in the trip for the rest of the group.
Anyone with an invite link can join the trip it belongs to, so share links only with people you want on the trip.
Expenses and money
Expense totals, balances and settle-up amounts are there to help your group keep track. They are for information only and are not financial, tax or legal advice. Exchange rates come from a third party, are approximate and may not match the rate your bank or card uses. Andamos doesn’t move money: payments between members happen outside the app and are between you and them.
Bookings and outside information
Andamos shows information from other sources, like weather forecasts, maps, routes and drive times, place details, and details from bookings you import. We don’t guarantee it’s accurate, complete or current. Always check important details, like flight times, opening hours and booking terms, with the airline, venue or provider. Your bookings are agreements between you and those providers, not with Andamos.
AI features
Some features use AI, for example to read a booking confirmation, scan a receipt or suggest ideas. AI can get things wrong. Review the results before you rely on them, especially dates, times and amounts.
Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Andamos running smoothly, but it may sometimes be unavailable, slow or have bugs. We may add, change or remove features over time. Offline features depend on what’s already saved on your device. Keep your own copies of anything critical, like tickets and travel documents.
Ending things
You can stop using Andamos and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other people at risk or exposes us to legal liability. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you first. Sections that by their nature should continue, like ownership, disclaimers and limits of liability, survive after your account ends.
Disclaimers
Andamos is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. You are responsible for your own travel decisions and safety.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Andamos will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, travel costs, missed connections or bookings, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to Andamos is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50.
Some places don’t allow certain of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is meaningful, we’ll update the date at the top and let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Andamos after that, you accept the new terms.
